Chun Gain, as the local calls it… is a tasty pork roll that only available in Sabah. Usually they call it “egg roll pork”. You can consume the entire pork roll on its own, or chop it into slices or strips to add as toppings to noodles. You can often see these in local noodles.
If you can want to get the freshest ones, I suggest you go to local morning market to buy a few strips of your own. It’s the Sabah version of sausage, bebeh! Taste wayyyy better.
I wonder if this can replace sausages in hot dog buns.. should be a great business opportunity. Heh.
